In a effort to reach two main objectives, a clean beach and some environmental awareness, we decided to join forces with Mercure Manado Tateli Resort and Convention and continue what they started already, a routine cleanup at the beach next door, together with kids from local schools.
Approximately 40 students from the Sekolah Dasar Inpres Ranowangko, together with the hotel staff and our team, did clean Tateli beach from any kind of debris, the majority of what was plastic unfortunately.
The kids have been taught how important is to reduce, reuse and recycle plastic and keep it away from the natural environment, especially our loved Oceans.
The hotel offered some food and water to close together a fantastic morning, see you next time!
