Eco Divers has just launched a new program, SAY NO TO PLASTIC.
In a effort to reduce single use plastic, following the initiative from Mercure Manado Tateli Resort and Convention, our accommodation partner in Manado, to cut to 0 the use of single use plastic (water bottles, straws, etc.) we’ll distribute to our guests a stainless steel tumbler.
Engraved with the words SAY NO TO PLASTIC, to spread the message also to other people around, the tumbler contains 750 ml of water (or other drinks) enough to drink for a few hours.
The tumbler will therefore be a private liquid container to be use in total hygiene.
It could be refilled at all Eco Divers Manado and Lembeh premises and facilities and at Mercure Manado Tateli Resort and Convention, with a total of approx. 60 water dispenser available for our guests.
Our guests will get it for free when they will book one of our All-Inclusive Diving Package (minimum 3 nights/2 days of diving in one location) and the first guests who received it this week really appreciate the initiative!
We also distribute one tumbler to all of our staff, in order for them to give the better example.
We hope that more operators will follow this initiative.
