Dear Friends,
We thought the best way to celebrate World Ocean Day was with an underwater clean up.
We did head out to Jahir in Lembeh Strait, where together with some of our divers, we carefully collect a lot of garbage, mainly plastic.
Carefully because we know how any of those piece of trash could easily be the home, the shelter of some marine life, so we did assure we were not going to arm any of our beloved critters!
We did collect several bags, with a total of 48 small plastic bottles, 23 big plastic bottles, 19 aluminum cans, several oil bottles and plastic bags, wraps and packs.
We clean up a “little drop” only, but we know how our Oceans are made of of drops, so we feel good…
